Joanne Chinnici, D.O.
Dr. Chinnici was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was graduated from
Temple University with a B.S. degree in Education. After teaching in the Public
School System in rural Pennsylvania, she received an M.S. degree in Education
from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. She taught at the University
of Florida for two years before returning to pursue her Medical Degree at the
Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. After completing a Residency in
General Surgery and a Fellowship in Trauma and Critical Care, Dr. Chinnici
practiced and taught at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Chinnici left Philadelphia to pursue a career in the Public Health Service,
practicing General Surgery at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in Ada,
Oklahoma before retiring from the Military.
Dr. Chinnici’s interests include activities related to the Health Field, Lifetime
sports, Maintaining a healthy lifestyle, Reading, and Gardening.
She currently resides in Carlton Landing, on Lake Eufaula in Oklahoma.
