Dear and Gentle Citizens of Carlton Landing:

We are about there. We had a very successful first Public Hearing regarding creation of our TIF (Tax Increment Financing) District.  We are ready to move into our second Public Hearing and Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees. If there is a unanimous yes vote by the Trustees, we will sign the Ordinance to create the TIF. There is still time to get a good seat, so come and ask any questions you have about the TIF. We want you to be part of this truly historic event. (I am not kidding, I recently went to a meeting of new town officials from all over Oklahoma and the speaker could not when asked what a TIF is, give a decent explanation, Oooh, pick me, pick me).
